Opening Varsana in May 2023 has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Having suffered from hair loss since 2010, I deeply understand the pain and frustration that come with these complex conditions.

In my search for solutions, I visited numerous clinics, trichologists, and hair loss centres, but all I encountered were expensive, lengthy treatments costing thousands. While in Japan, I discovered the Head Spa concept, and with my expertise in hair and scalp disorders as a qualified hairdresser, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to help others back home in Australia who are also seeking answers to their own hair and scalp concerns.

I named my Head Spa Varsana, meaning ‘rainfall’ in Sanskrit, inspired by my love for India, where I travelled extensively in my twenties.

When I opened Varsana, I was determined to provide an exceptional experience, so I invested in top-tier, handmade Japanese equipment by Takara Belmont, the pioneers of the Yume Head Spa technique. I am also proud to be the Official Educator for Takara Belmont in Australia.

As the Head Spa concept grows in Australia, I’ve dedicated myself to educating and inspiring future Head Spa Artisans through in-depth, one-on-one training and support. By working with Australia’s leading dermatologists and alopecia specialists, I’m able to offer guests the latest, science-backed advice and access to experts who can manage their concerns.

    I'm fortunate to be the exclusive Head Spa Ambassador for Belega in Australia.

  • Head and neck tension are common issues I see in my Head Spa, often caused by stress, technology use, and bad posture.

    This tension can make the neck and shoulder muscles tight, leading to ongoing pain and even affecting the scalp.

    I use EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) to help relax these muscles. The electric current makes the muscles tense and relax, targeting the neck, shoulders, and head.

    The benefits include fewer headaches and migraines, better sleep quality, and improved blood circulation in the scalp, which can enhance hair quality and growth.

  • The Positive and Negative ION Cleansing modes on the Beagank 4T++ are beneficial to you during your visit.

  • We understand that plans change, so we allow our guests to reschedule their appointments easily online through their profile.

    If you choose to cancel rather than reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will be credited to your profile and can be used with any future ritual should you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment.

    Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will have the booking fee kept.

  • Absolutely. So as long as you have followed all directions by your GP & OB/GYN and are 27 weeks or less. we would be delighted to welcome you. Please ensure you notify us of your pregnancy on our consultation form sent to you before visiting.

    We may have to change some techniques used during the ritual to create a safe experience for you and your baby.

    For our guests who are pregnant 28 weeks or greater, we are unable to look after you due to the zero degree nature of our bed.

  • Although I am not Japanese, I was trained in Japan, and all my equipment has been sourced and manufactured by Takara Belmont.

  • Yes, there is. We require all visitors to be at least 18 years old in order to receive a head spa treatment. This policy is in place to ensure that our services are beneficial for our clients.
